Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray praised the levels of concentration and Marc Antoine-Fortune after the 3-0 win over Shrewsbury.

The Sky Blues completely outclassed their opponents in an impressive victory which saw Mowbray's side claim 5th spot in League One, with a game in hand.

Adam Armstrong netted a brace and Fortune slotted home a first-half penalty after he was taken down in the area as City maintain their unbeaten home record.

Mowbray was delighted with the quality of performance against the Shrews and believes the players should enjoy the performance.

He said:"It was a performance which should give everyone a lift and it was an important win. Those sort of performances keeps the confidence high around the club.

"I'd like to see us develop some consistency now and bring that sort of performance into the Yeovil Town game and Fleetwood next week.

"I've just said to the players that we should enjoy this performance though and enjoy the consentration levels. We had plenty of chances to score more goals and it could have been more.

"We fully warranted the win. We had a very clear penalty shout in the first minute as well but credit to them, they kept plugging away and we did really well to keep that clean sheet."

Reice Charles-Cook claimed a clean sheet on his full debut whilst Fortune claimed two assists and a goal, and the City boss was quick to praise them both.

He added: "Marco is a great professional. He's a player who uses his strength really well and puts his body in the way. He gives the team a point of attack.

"He's got great experience and great awareness of the space he operates in. Big centre-halves think they can come crashing through him but they bounce off him and he gets away to set others up. His influence on the game was brilliant.

"I'm delighted with Reice. He's not a suprise for us, Reice Charles-Cook is a very talented young goalkeeper who has caught my eye from day one since coming into the building.

"He's athletic and can play with the ball as well. We're very fortunate to have two very talented young goalkeepers at the moment and I'm pleased he kept a clean sheet on his debut."
