Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has revealed the major positive of the 2013/14 League One season has been evolution of the 'City style' of football.
With four games remaining in the season, City face a crucial Easter weekend double-header as they welcome Swindon Town to Sixfields tomorrow before a trip to Oldham Athletic on Monday.
The Sky Blues are currently in 15th position in the League One table with a six-point gap between City and the relegation zone.
Having seen the Sky Blues develop young players in the side this season, Pressley believes it bodes well for the future.
The City boss said: "The real positive of the season, especially up until January, is the type of football we've played and the evolution of the style of play we've adapted.
"It is one of the key things we've aimed for since I came down to the club so that has been great to see. The other thing has been the experience our young players have gained.
"It is hugely encouraging moving forward as these players are only going to progress with more football so there is a lot to look forward to.
"A lot of the players have had to buy-in to the hard work we put in throughout the week and the way they have adapted to that culture has been terrific. If we achieve safety with the ten-point deduction and the thin squad we've had this season, it is a great achievement."
Swindon Town are currently 7th in the League One table and need to win against Coventry to keep their play-off hopes alive, or hope Peterborough United lose.
The Robins beat City at the County Ground earlier in the season and Pressley admitted he is a 'huge admirer' of the way Mark Cooper has developed the Robins team this season.
He added: "I think the game we played against them down there was one of the best games of the season. It could have gone either way and we were unlucky to lose.
"With the style both teams play, I think the game was one of the best adverts for League One.
"Both teams like to attack the game and pass the ball so I'm expecting another great game tomorrow. I'm a huge admirer of the job Mark Cooper has done at Swindon as he has stuck to his principles.
"They're going to provide a huge test for us but I think if we can take the lessons out of the Peterborough game, we should come through it."
