A letter to supporters from Coventry City manager Steven Pressley

18 December 2014

The City boss has thanked fans for their tremendous support so far this season ahead of the Fleetwood Town game...

Dear supporter,

On Saturday, we play our final home fixture before Christmas and it would be great to see as many of our fans inside the Ricoh Arena as possible.

The club has cut ticket prices to the same levels as the night we returned to the city – a night that anyone who was there will never forget. It will certainly live long in my memory when we saw a real outpouring of affection and passion for this football club. It was a night of immense pride for me and everyone connected with Coventry City Football Club.

Of course, it will be almost impossible to recreate that atmosphere but it would be fantastic to get a good crowd backing the team in our final game before Christmas, especially on the back of a fine result at Port Vale on Saturday.

We’ve talked a great deal at this club in recent weeks about making football more affordable for our supporters and I hope – especially at this time of year – that the discounted tickets make it possible for more fans to come along and support the team.

Thank you for your tremendous support so far this season and we look forward to seeing you at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday.

Steven Pressley
