"It is a massive game for both clubs. We need to focus on us and our performance." - Coventry City's Steven Pressley

The Sky Blues manager

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has admitted he is only concerned with how the Sky Blues approach the weekend's game against Yeovil Town.

City face another long trip after their 3-1 defeat to Gillingham last week at Priestfield, this time to Somerset to face the Glovers.

Gary Johnson's side are currently bottom of League One on 24 points but have remained undefeated during the last two games with a win over Bradford City and a draw at Preston North End.

Pressley admitted his players were disappointed after the 3-1 defeat to the Gills last week but says he expects that reaction.

The City boss said: "I expect disappointment from the players when they come in on a Monday. They show they care.

"This is their lives and you always want to achieve so there is going to be an element of disappointment.

"However, you move throughout the week, looking at the mistakes from the previous game and looking to improve. I sense an excitement about Saturday as it gives us a chance to put a few things right.

"We're looking forward to the game. Yeovil are a hard-working side and it is a massive game for both clubs."

The Sky Blues will be looking to repeat their 2-1 win over the Glovers at the Ricoh Arena in September, with Reda Johnson and Simeon Jackson getting the goals.

Pressley took time to praise the Yeovil boss Johnson but wants the Sky Blues squad to focus on their own performance on Saturday.

He added: "They've struggled this season but the one thing they do have is a great manager who has some fantastic experience in the game.

"They've had a few very positive results, beating Bradford at home and a draw against Preston, so they will be confident going into the game and we've got to be aware of that.

"I think it is about us. About our mentality and how we approach the game that really concerns myself. We've got to go there with a belief.

"We need to know that we can win the game and that's what I'll be driving home to the players today and tomorrow before the game."
