Coventry City have completed the emergency loan signing of Joe Cole from Aston Villa ahead of tomorrow night's game against Rochdale.
The 33-year old will be with the Sky Blues until Sunday, November 22nd and is eligible to play in the FA Cup for Tony Mowbray's side.
The Sky Blues and Aston Villa agreed the deal on Friday but the paperwork was completed today, with FA, Football League and Premier League approval.
Cole, who has formally played for Chelsea, Liverpool and West Ham, will wear the No.14 shirt for the Sky Blues and could go straight into the squad for the trip to Spotland tomorrow night.
