Coventry City striker Shaun Miller has called on the City squad to pull together and deliver ahead of the game against Oldham Athletic.

The City striker came on in the second-half in the 3-1 defeat against Bristol City and scored his second goal of the season for the Sky Blues.

The 26-year old has now made 11 appearances for the Sky Blues and is in contention for tomorrow's game at the SportsDirect.com Park.

Speaking after the defeat to the Robins, Miller believes it is important the squad channels the current frustration into three points against the Latics.

The striker said: "We need to go and get the three points. We need to respond and stick together as a group in difficult times as that what it takes to get out of a bad spell.

"We're all frustrated. Not just with ourselves as individuals but ourselves within the team and we all feel like we could be doing more.

"We're not where we want to be so it's important we support each other at the moment but also, it's important to be on each other's backs to get better.

"I think, when players are frustrated with the way the team are playing, you usually see a really good reaction and I'm sure that will happen on Tuesday night."

The City squad have suffered with a few injury problems recently but Miller believes that is no excuse and the rest of the squad has to step up.

He added: "The injury situation doesn't help as we've got a few little niggles around the squad at the moment but it isn't an excuse.

"That is why you've got a squad and when players are injured, you need the other players to step up and deliver.

"When called upon, you've got to be ready and every day in training, you need to be giving your best so standards don't slip. It is a crucial game for us and I'm sure we will deliver."
