Coventry City are approaching 5,000 Season Ticket sales for the 2014/15 campaign.

The Sky Blues have now sold around 4,650 Season Tickets, including those in the corporate area, and are still seeing strong interest at the CCFC Superstore at the Gallagher Retail Park and online at www.ccfcshop.co.uk.

All Season Tickets purchased so far have been posted out to supporters and that has dramatically improved the speed at which fans are being service in the Superstore.

Chief executive Steve Waggott said: “The response from supporters has been fantastic and we would be delighted to get to the 5,000 mark for Season Tickets – we are certainly closing in on it.

“I am extremely grateful to all of the staff for their efforts too and their work in getting Season Tickets out in the post has helped the Superstore return to normality. There is still good interest but we’ve brought in additional staff and that, coupled with Season Tickets being posted out, means fans are being served much more quickly than before.

“We are still having the occasional issue with the shop website but, again, we are working through that and welcome all feedback from supporters so we can address issues as and when they arise.

“We’ve also listened to supporter feedback on match packages and they have been reintroduced this week for those fans who want to benefit from lower per-match prices but can’t quite stretch to a Season Ticket.

“Again, any feedback we receive from supporters is always listened to and we will do what we can to make it as easy as possible for them to attend as many matches as possible.

“We are now all gearing up for the weekend match against Preston North End and it would be great to see as many supporters inside the stadium backing Steven Pressley and the team.”
