Coventry City have completed the signing of Bolton winger Sanmi Odelusi on an emergency loan deal.

The 21-year old, who has trained with Steven Pressley's side for the past two days, will join up with the Sky Blues until the end of the season.

Born in Dagenham, Odelusi has been with Bolton Wanderers since 2009 and has featured six times for the Trotters.

Odelusi had a spell on loan at MK Dons last season, making a further six appearances.

City boss Steven Pressley said: "Sanmi brings energy and speed, he's got an eye for goal and can play in a number of attacking positions.

"He started off as a striker in his younger days before moving out on the wing. This means they are more likely to come inside and score goals, which sometimes isn't in the make up of out-and-out wingers.

"I hope Sanmi can bring this speed in our counter attack, which hasn't been as fast as I would have liked this season."

Sanmi will wear the No.17 shirt during his time with the Sky Blues and is eligible for today's clash against Rochdale.
