Coventry City have confirmed that Sam Ricketts will be captain of the side for the 2015/16 season.
Ricketts, who signed for the Sky Blues on a free transfer in the summer, has worn the armband three times during the pre-season campaign.
The 33-year old was also captain at his former club Wolves where he helped to lead the side to promotion from League One during the 2013/14 season.
