Coventry City midfielder Franck Moussa says 'there are a lot of questions to be asked' after back-to-back defeats against Rotherham and Tranmere.
The Sky Blues picked up just their fifth league defeat of the season against the Millers at Sixfields, despite a goalless first half.
Nouha Dicko put Rotherham ahead early on in the 58th minute, Alex Revell added a second with 20 minutes remaining and Kieran Agard completed the scoring from the penalty spot shortly after.
Last night's result means Coventry have now conceded eight goals in two matches and Moussa believes the team must improve that record.
The 24-year old said: "It is a difficult defeat for us and when you concede eight goals in two games, there will be a lot of questions to be asked.
"As a team, we need to analyse the defeat. I'm sure the manager will sit down with us and tell us how to improve our performances which we have put in over the last two matches.
"One thing we can't do is feel sorry for ourselves or let this feeling stay around the club for a long time. I suppose that is the good thing about football as you will always get another chance to impress.
"It was the little moments which let us down. They cleared one off-the-line in the first half and if that goes in, it is a different game. We needed to react to going behind a lot better though."
Steven Pressley's side are now placed in 13th position in the table, seven points outside the play-offs and five points outside the relegation zone.
However, if City hadn't received the ten-point deduction, the side would currently be in 6th position and Moussa believes it is important to remember the progress the team has made.
The City midfielder added: "I was disappointed at the way they seemed to score their goals in quick succession because before their goal, it looked like we were the stronger team. We need to make sure we keep ourselves in games, even if we go behind.
"We had our chances and we didn't take them whilst they scored their chances. Those are the margins in football. As soon as they took their opportunity, it changed the game.
"One of the things the manager told us was we have to remember how far we have come as a group of players. With our progress, the expectations have changed a little bit as now everyone thinks we are a good side and everyone in the league thinks that as well.
"You have to remember it is a long season and you will have set-backs along the way. We must stay with it and get back to our best. It'll happen."
