Update on fixtures and evenst for the Sky Blues' pre-season tour of Holland
Coventry City Football Club would like to update supporters on events for the club's forthcoming pre-season tour of Holland.
City's originally scheduled pre-season friendly with Go Ahead Eagles on Tuesday, July 16, has been cancelled but the club is working to arrange an alternative fixture and hopes to confirm that very soon.
Although full details are not yet available, travel time from the team's training base just outside Arnhem to the proposed fixture will be no more than an hour, the same as for the previously arranged fixture with Go Ahead Eagles.
Supporters travelling to Holland should regularly check the club's official website www.ccfc.co.uk for updates on opponents, kick-off time and venue.
The second of the Sky Blues' friendlies on Thursday, July 18, has now been moved to a 'behind-closed-doors' fixture at the request of local police and, as such, supporters will not be permitted to attend.
However, the final fixture of the week long tour against Heracles Almelo, on Saturday, July 20, will go ahead as scheduled with fans welcome to attend.
