The City boss was delighted with the turnout in what we're calling our biggest ever JSB Christmas party...

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray and the entire City squad got into the festive spirit at the Junior Sky Blues Christmas Party.

The City boss and his squad were present at the Alan Higgs Centre for the annual event, as well as the main star of the show, Santa Claus and his reindeer.

The young City supporters got to enjoy a range of activities at the party before getting signed posters from their favourite Sky Blue stars.

Due to the high turnout, the event continued until past 5pm with all the squad and management staff staying until everyone got their photo and signature.

City boss Mowbray believes it is one of the most important events of the season and hopes the young supporters 'feel a part of it'.

Mowbray said: "It's been a lot of fun with people who are very passionate about the club and the numbers here today are quite incredible so it's great to see.

"It's an important event as these young kids are the future supporters of the football club.

"Today is all about making memories for the children so they've got to have their picture taken with Joe Cole and Adam Armstrong so they feel a part of it.

"I remember when I met David Mills at Middlesbrough when I was about 8 and I keep his signed picture for years and years after it and that's the impact on day's like today."

Goalkeeper Reice Charles-Cook admitted the party had put him in the festive spirit and is now looking ahead to the big Boxing Day clash.

He added: "It's weird because last year I was on loan at Nuneaton so I didn't get to come to this event and now I'm here, it's incredible.

"I didn't think they'd be so many people here and it's great for the children to come and meet their favourite football players. It wasn't too long ago that I was doing that so it's great.

"It's really put me in the festive spirit today with the reindeer and Santa here so it's great for all the players to come here as well.

"After the enjoyment of Christmas day, we're all looking at the Boxing Day game as we can't wait for it and I've heard it's going to be another big crowd which is great."

A big thank you to all our fantastic volunteers who helped make the party a huge success!
