Coventry City manager Steven Pressley believes Nuneaton Town will provide a 'difficult test' as the Sky Blues kick off their pre-season at Liberty Way.
The City squad have been in pre-season training for 11 days now and are set for their first match against the Conference side on Saturday.
The Sky Blues have been boosted going into the game as Pressley sealed the signings of left-back Danny Pugh and striker Shaun Miller yesterday.

The City boss has revealed that he will play two different sides in each half so that every player gets game-time before the pre-season tour of Italy.
Pressley said: "The main thing is to get our levels of fitness up and make sure we keep improving throughout pre-season.
"I'm really looking forward to it. I've been down to Nuneaton to watch them play against Derby County and Notts County, and they narrowly lost to a strong Derby side and got a solid draw against Notts County.
"It will be a difficult test as Brian Reid (Nuneaton Town manager) has put a stamp on the team. They displayed great work-ethic in both of the matches so we will have to match them in that department.
"I'll be looking change the team at half-time so I get to look at everyone and how they're progressing."
Reda Johnson was named as club captain by the City boss yesterday but he is set to miss the match against Nuneaton as he is currently on international duty with Benin, whilst Pressley also confirmed loan signing Mohamed Coulibaly is a doubt for the game.
He added: "It will prove a great opportunity to look at the squad in a game situation. We've done a lot of match training during pre-season.
"The players enjoy it. They like to have the ball at their feet and we've seen the squad respond positively.
"Mohamed has come in and in the first week, he missed some ball-based work because of an inflammation in his groin. We had it scanned and he is likely to miss the Nuneaton game. It has not stopped him running though and in the fitness work, he has been exceptional.
"Other than him, most of the squad should get a run-out on Saturday and it'll be a good chance for our supporters to see some of our new signings."
