As well as the Sky Blues game, there are lots of other things happening around the stadium on a matchday!
Make sure you don’t miss out on anything, with our handy matchday timetable- which is based on a standard Saturday 3pm kick-off…
9:30am – The Matchday Ticket Office opens
Beat the queues and buy your Sky Blues match tickets in advance! The matchday ticket office is located at next to the Jimmy Hill statue, and is available for all pre-match ticket purchases, collections and queries.
1:30pm – Concourse and Turnstiles open
The main concourse opens at 1:30pm – this includes all of the food and drink outlets located around the concourse too.
Turnstiles open at this time too – enter via the turnstile stated on your ticket.
1:30pm – Family Zone activities start
Our busy Family Zone gets under way in the North East corner of the concourse. There is lots going on- and it’s all free! Activities include arts and crafts, music, Playstations, competitions and more. Make sure you check ccfc.co.uk ahead of the game for full information about what is going on!
1:40pm – Sky Blue Sam and players visit the Family Zone
Our mascot Sky Blue Sam visits the Family Zone around this time, and he will be joined by members of the Sky Blues squad who are not featuring in the matchday squad ,plus some of the Sky Blues legends of yesteryear. They will stay in the zone until around 2:15pm, so make sure you are there between these times.
2:10pm – Team News in the Family Zone
The team news is brought to you for the first time in the stadium, as the line ups for the Sky Blues and the opposition are read out in the Family Zone.
2:15pm – Players warm up
Head into the stadium bowl and watch the Sky Blues put through their paces as they prepare and get warmed up for the big game. The goalkeepers will be out first, followed by the outfield players.
2:30pm – Family Zone activities end
The Family Zone activities draw to a close, to make sure our dedicated team of volunteers can head back to their seats for kick-off.
2:45pm – Players end warm ups
The players go back inside the changing room – their warm up is complete, they are ready for the game!
2:58pm – Team comes out!
Excitement builds as the Sky Blues and the opposition come out of the tunnel and onto the pitch to the sound of Mr Blue Sky.
3:00pm – Kick-off
It’s the start of the first half! Can the Sky Blues get a first-half lead?!
3:45pm – Half-time
Quarter of an hour break – both for the players and fans! Grab yourself a drink or something to eat, or you could stay in your seat… we’ve got Sky Blue Sam parading the pitch, activities from Sky Blues in the Community and lots more to keep you busy!
4:00pm – Second half
Will the Sky Blues secure the three points? There’s another 45 minutes of drama to come!
4:45pm – Full time
The end of the match – the players will thank you for your support at the end of the match, and you’ll start the countdown to your next Sky Blues game!
