Goals from Bassala Sambou, Jordan Shipley and Jay Albini seal victory at Bolton Wanderers to continue unbeaten run...

Coventry City Under-18s sealed an important victory at Bolton Wanderers as they continue their impressive run in the league.

The Sky Blues went into the game on the back of a draw against Colchester United and a 5-4 win over Brentford.

City did most of the early running throughout the first 30 minutes and were rewarded for their attacking play when Bassala Sambou netted from close range after good work from Dan Smith.

Smith should have made it two soon after when he raced through but the keeper produced a brilliant save to deny his low effort.

Jason Farndon's side continued to press forward and went into the break 2-0 up when Jak Hickman's cross found Jordan Shipley free in the area to score in the 42nd minute.

It could have been three before the break but Kyle Finn's chip came off the bar as City were comfortably ahead at the break.

Callum Maycock was sent off in the 56th minute but City continued to dominate the occasion. It wasn't until two minutes to go when Bolton got a goal back but Jay Albini raced away in the final minute to seal a 3-1 victory.
