The Scottish international came off the bench to make a game-winning impact with two late set pieces infront of 7,000 travelling City fans just 24 hours after sealing a loan move from Sheffield Wednesday.

He said: "I couldn't have picked a better end to score and I'm just delighted they went in but the most important thing was getting the three points and I'm really pleased we did that.

The 24-year-old added that he wanted to make the most of his loan spell with the Sky Blues that sees him remain with the club up to and including January 5th, 2014.

"It was great to just get on the pitch," he added. "It's been a while but it was good to get a run out and cap it off with two goals although the most important thing was that we won.
