Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has confirmed the club will be active in the loan market tomorrow.

The City boss has also confirmed midfielder Adam Barton is likely to leave the club on loan before tomorrow's 5pm deadline for the emergency loan window.

Pressley has already brought in Huddersfield midfielder Anton Robinson and Blackpool striker Nathan Eccleston this week as he looks to bolster his squad for the final eight games of the season.

Having seen his side record an important 1-0 victory over Stevenage, Pressley hopes to see a final addition tomorrow.

The City manager said: "It was good to see the two loan players (Robinson and Eccleston) play well for us. I thought Anton was brilliant all match and gave us that extra something we've been lacking in the midfield.

"I think he’s going to be a crucial player for us for the rest of the season. Nathan did well when he came on and looked very energetic which is what we expect from him.

"It looks like Adam Barton is potentially going out on loan tomorrow so that makes it very important to bring in another player before 5pm.”
