Sky Blues scoop the LMA Performance of the Week award for 5-4 win over Bristol City

The Sky Blues' dramatic 5-4 win over Bristol City at Sixfields Stadium on Sunday has earned the club the League Managers Association Performance of the Week award sponsored by F&C Investments.

City picked up their first win of the 2013/14 season following a toe-to-toe goalfest against the Robins which saw a double from Callum Wilson, one from the spot from Leon Clarke and midfielder Billy Daniels' first and second ever professional goals including the winner three minutes from time.

The LMA's five man panel, consisting of Chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry, selected Steven Pressley's side for the award following the result, after which Pressley said: "The players deserve much credit. When you're 3-0 up and you're pegged back, it's very easy to go under.

"They didn't, they continued to show that spirit and unity that I think is so evident at our club at this time."
