Sky Blues placed in Northern Section East for first round draw
COVENTRY City will find out their opponents in the first round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy when the draw takes place on Saturday, August 18.
The Sky Blues will enter the hat for the draw which will take place on Sky Sports' 'Soccer AM' programme at around 9.30am.
City could face anyone of Burton Albion, Chesterfield, Notts County, Oldham Athletic, Rotherham United, Scunthorpe United or York City.
First round fixtures are scheduled to take place the week commencing September 3.
