Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has ordered his side to make sure last season's 4-1 defeat at Shrewsbury Town 'doesn't happen again' ahead of the trip to the Greenhous Meadow.
In one of the low points of the 2012/13 League One season, the Sky Blues suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of the Shrews, with Darren Jones, Paul Parry, Matt Richards and Marvin Morgan scoring for Graham Turner's side.
The defeat left City joint bottom of the table on three points after seven games, with the side yet to claim a win. However, City have started this season in much better form, claiming seven points out of four league games, scoring an incredible 15 goals.
Pressley wasn't in charge of the side at the time but he says the side are determined to make sure there isn't a repeat of last season's result.
The City boss said: "I have spoke to a number of people about last season's results and Shrewsbury did the double over us last season, and the result at Shrewsbury is one which sticks out for people.
"It was definitely one of the low points for the club and we have to make sure it doesn't happen again. We have to go there with the right sort of mentality and give the right sort of performance.
"They are a good side. We have watched a lot of footage of them in the past week and they have had some good results this season. They are set up to be difficult to beat and so it has proved so far this season.
"Neil MacFarlane (Assistant Manager) went to watch them play Rotherham so we know how they are going to set up and we have prepared the right way for the game.
"One thing I can guarantee is that we will be going into the game with great confidence as the team are enjoying their football at the moment."
Coventry are currently the highest scoring side in English football at the moment but have also been guilty of conceding 11 goals in League One this season.
The City boss says he isn't too concerned about the amount conceded but added he would like to see the situation improve as the season progresses.
He added: "It is quite obvious aspects of our defending must improve. But, I will say that we are defending well in general.
"It is the key moments we must improve on. At no point this season have we conceded a goal where you can feel it coming. It has been the small details which has let us down.
"We haven't lost in our last three games and kept a good clean sheet at Carlisle so I think it is important we focus on those positives."
