City star James Maddison and Allsopp and Allsopp's Carl Allsopp launch the new kit at their old school with a lucky student...

Coventry City's James Maddison and Allsopp and Allsopp's Carl Allsopp returned to their old school to launch the new kit with the help of one lucky Sky Blues fan!

As part of the It Starts Today 2015/16 home kit launch, the club had enlisted the help of Caludon Castle School, Wyken and one lucky Year Seven student, Harvey Billing.

The school selected Harvey to model and launch the new home kit in Assembly not only for being a star student but a huge Sky Blues fan who acts as a ball-boy during home games.

With the help of former Caludon students Maddison and Carl, Harvey modelled and took home the first 2015/16 Coventry City kit, and he was over the moon to be part of the special day.

Harvey said: "I feel excited, privileged and incredibly proud to model the new kit.

"I found out on Friday that I was selected and I couldn't believe it. To launch it with James Maddison as well was incredible as he is one of the best City players.

"I play central-midfield for the Academy and I try to play like him. I'm really looking forward to the new season with Tony Mowbray leading the team."

City's Maddison said: "It feels weird to come back but it's been really nice to see some old faces and catch up with the teachers.

"It's been a great day and to launch the new kit here with Harvey was a great experience. I really like the new kit and hopefully, as it's based on the 1987-kit, it will help bring us some success this season."

Carl Allsopp was a student at Caludon Castle school before setting up a successful business in property in both Warwickshire and Dubai, and he's proud to have the Allsopp and Allsopp logo on the new shirt.

He commented: "Naturally I’m proud of the logo being on the shirt.

“For me it’s special, as it’s probably one of the most iconic shirts in memory. It’s the most successful period in our history and if the players can draw from that, happy days. The design is great."
