The Sky Blues boss also gave an update on Joe Cole and hopes Ben Turner can play on Saturday...

Coventry City boss Tony Mowbray revealed that John Fleck is expected to be in full training today following the hamstring injury that ruled him out of Tuesday's trip to Bradford.

The 24-year old did some light work with the physios yesterday and Mowbray is hopeful that he and Ben Turner can be involved in tomorrow's game at the Ricoh Arena.

"I think John's training today," Mowbray said.

"He was on the grass with the physios yesterday doing some light work. If he comes through today's session then he'll be back, there's a decent chance.

"Ben Turner played 90 minutes on Tuesday and the next step in his fitness is to play 90 minutes again. I'm in contact with Russell Slade and Cardiff are looking to manage his minutes really as he had a serious injury. I'm hopeful he can play."

Mowbray also gave a Joe Cole update, adding: "As I've said over the past few weeks Joe won't be involved, he's trained fantastically this week, running some tackles and showing his talent. He'll be right in contention for the Sheffield United game I'm sure.
