INJURY NEWS: "Marcus was ill but he should be fine. The numbers are short though." Coventry City's Tony Mowbray

The Sky Blues will be missing Maddison, Willis and Finch but Mowbray believes Tudgay should be OK for the fixture...

Coventry City boss Tony Mowbray revealed that Marcus Tudgay should be fine for the weekend after missing training in the week with illness.

Lee Burge also missed a session this week but is expected to be fit for the trip to Burton, who sit in third place in the League One table.

George Thomas, Bryn Morris and Adam Armstrong miss the trip to the Pirelli Stadium and Mowbray admits that because of the absentees, the numbers are short for Sunday’s game.

"Marcus will be OK for Sunday, if not we hope our new signing will be ready!" Mowbray said.

"He's just a bit ill, he'll be fine.

"Lee Burge should be fine too, he's had a little complaint about his knee but we're managing both keepers in training.

"George, Bryn and Adam are away so it takes the numbers really short. We'll register some young players to fill the bench but it highlights the lack of depth at the moment. Jordan Willis, James Maddison and Jack Finch highlight the lack of depth as we have three away and three injured. Hopefully we'll go and give a good performance though."
