Coventry City winger Gordon Nutt scored 11 goals in 82 senior appearances for the club

Former Coventry City player Gordon Nutt has sadly passed away aged 81

Coventry City Football Club are saddened to learn of the death of former player Gordon Nutt in Tasmania, aged 81.

The former winger, a product of the club's youth academy, made 82 senior appearances between 1951 and 1954, scoring 11 goals.

Nutt later went on to play for Cardiff City and Arsenal before emigrating to Australia in the 1970's.

Coventry City Football Club would like to pass on its dearest condolences to Gordon's family.
