You have all seen the article and you have all been talking about it but now it's time to take a look into what went in to making what FourFourTwo magazine have called 'our favourite shoot for years'.

Worldwide footie publication FourFourTwo approached the club with the idea of recreating an iconic album cover from Coventry band The Specials using seven of City's young stars.

A day was spent setting up for the shoot at the club's Ryton training ground to accompany interviews with the players on their meteoric rise into the Sky Blues first team and their background connections with Coventry the city.

Callum Wilson, Cyrus Christie, Conor Thomas, Jordan Clarke, Billy Daniels, Aaron Phillips and Jordan Willis were all put into the hands of the magazine's fashion co-ordinator who painstakingly recreated the look depicted on the cover of The Specials' self titled 1979 album, superbly photographed by SM2 Studio.

You can see the feature in the January 2014 edition of FourFourTwo which is on sale now. Watch our behind-the-scenes video of the shoot below!
