The Sky Blues have added a striker to the ranks before Sunday's away trip to Port Vale...
Darius Henderson has been offered a deal until the end of the current season, having been a free agent after being released by Scunthorpe United.
The 34-year old offers a different attacking option to Mowbray, who was looking to give the Sky Blues squad more offensive depth.
Henderson started his career at Reading, making his debut as a substitute in March 2000 and Mowbray is confident that the 6ft 4’ striker will compliment the attributes among the current front line.
Mowbray said: "He is a big lad, a goal threat and dominant in the opposition area.
“He also has a lot of experience, including Premier League and we are glad to have him to strengthen the ranks.
“I spoke of that plan B, Henderson offers that.”
