Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray believes that Marcus Tudgay is close to a return to action for the Sky Blues and could be on the bench against Crewe Alexandra, according to the Coventry Telegraph.
The striker limped off against Peterborough in the 40th minute and has not featured since, but Mowbray believes he is close to overcoming his injury and could return for Saturday's crucial clash against the Alex.
Tudgay has made 22 appearances so far for City this season, scoring three times.
