Manager Steven Pressley spoke to the Coventry Telegraph this week about two trialists with the club – here is what he had to say…Steven Pressley is currently looking at a couple of trialists this week, one from Scottish giants Celtic.
The Coventry City boss is looking at an Under-21 development player from his former club as well as a teenager from north of the border who could fit into the Sky Blues Under-18s Academy side next year.
“We’ve got a couple in from Scotland, one from Celtic who we’re assessing for a couple of days and an Under-17 year old who is quite an interesting player,” said Pressley, who is looking to shake his squad up in the January transfer window.
“We’re looking at recruitment right through the club just now.”
Pressley also confirmed he’s not pursuing his interest in the striker he had on trial last week who played 65 minutes in the Under-21s who lost 2-0 to Nottingham Forest.
