Coventry City goalkeeper Lee Burge revealed that all the hardship that he has faced on the pitch this season has turned him into a 'stronger and better player'.Burge has featured 20 times for City so far this season, but suffered setbacks after being sent off against Worcester City in the FA Cup and losing his place in the side to loanees Ryan Allsop and Jamie Jones.
The 22-year old now wants to repay the faith shown to him by manager Tony Mowbray and have a strong end to the campaign, continuing with the game against Crewe Alexandra at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday.

"My season didn't start well," he said. "But I've kept my head down in training and I'm really enjoying how things are going right now.
"At the start of the season I was hoping to have made more appearances than I have done but that's not how things have turned out.
"The mistakes I have made have turned me into a stronger player, there have been learning points especially the Worcester debacle.
"The manager has given me faith and hopefully I can repay that. I'm enjoying playing under him and by speaking to him you realise the ambitions he has for the football club."
Burge could be part of a new club record if they manage to keep a clean sheet against Crawley on the final day, which would be City's fifth on the spin away from home and equal the number of away clean sheets amassed over a season.
The Hereford-born stopper praised his defence and manager Mowbray for their defensive capabilities and for being on the cusp of a new record.
He continued: "The manager has come in and told us about the art of defending, something he knows a lot about and it has helped us.
"It's been helpful as the way we are playing allows us to get the ball out of our half for long periods of time and it has greatly reduced the number of goals we've conceded.
"We've done so well getting clean sheets away from home, hopefully we can now do that at the Ricoh starting with Saturday.
"The back four and midfield have given me a shield at the moment, they are working really hard. It's helped me to become more composed.
"Crosses are an example of that. I've been able to deal with them better, when to come out and when not too, the whole squad is starting to play with a bit more confidence.
"I firmly believe that the more experience you get, the better you become. I want all the experience I can get at this stage in my career."
