Connections

Michael McIndoe

Former Sky Blues winger Michael McIndoe spent three years at Doncaster from 2003 to 2006.

McIndoe made a big impact during his time at the Rovers, scoring 28 times in his 122 appearances, whilst gaining a Scotland 'A' cap in the process.

He was the club's joint top goal scorer in his second season at the club.

Gerry Daly

The former Manchester United midfielder moved to Coventry City in 1980 and had a successful four-year spell at the club.

The Irish international played 89 times for the Sky Blues and scored 19 goals before moving onto Birmingham City in 1984.

Doncaster Rovers was his penultimate club of his career and he played for just one season for the Yorkshire side, featuring 39 times and scoring four goals.

Sammy Clingan

The former Sky Blues captain joined Doncaster Rovers 2012 and made nine appearances for the Yorkshire side.

The Northern Irish international spent three years at the Ricoh Arena, making 98 league appearances for the side and scoring seven goals, including the opening goal in the 1-1 draw between the two sides in October last year.

After having trials at several clubs, including Charlton Athletic, Clingan signed the month-to-month deal for Rovers in 2012 and came on against City when the Sky Blues ran out 4-1 winners.
