CONNECTIONS: Milwall vs Coventry City - We look at three players who have played for both sides!

Ahead of tomorrow's clash with Milwall at the New Den, we look at three players who have played for both the Lions and the Sky Blues!

Some of the best players in our recent history have played for both clubs, including two memorable faces from the Premier League era...

DION DUBLIN

Dublin had a loan spell with the Lions during his time with rivals Aston Villa.

Faced with competition for a first team place by Juan Pablo Angel and Peter Crouch, Dublin spent several weeks on loan there in 2002. In his time there, he scored two league goals which helped them into the play-offs. Dublin also netted in the semi-final but it wasn't enough as Birmingham City won 2-1 on aggregate.

DARREN HUCKERBY

Huckerby was loaned to Milwall just before he moved to the Sky Blues. Newcastle United loaned the forward out to the Lions where he played six league games and netted three goals.

That forced Gordon Strachan to buy the forward for £1m... Bargain!

SAM ALLARDYCE

Not of the Premier League era, but recent West Ham manager Allardyce enjoyed a two-year spell with Milwall between 1981-83. A move to America sandwiched his move to the Sky Blues - with the defender making 28 league appearances for City.
