CONNECTIONS: Coventry City vs Sheffield United - We look at three front men to play for both City and the Blades

Ahead of Sheffield United’s trip to the Ricoh Arena, we look at three players who have played for both sides...

Here are three strikers who have played for both the Sky Blues and the Blades, including one of the club's stars of the Premier League era and a current Sky Blue frontman.

PETER NDLOVU

With the Sky Blues from 1991-1997, Ndlovu had the best spell of his career with City in the Premier League as he became one of the stars of the Sky Blues' Premier League era.

The Zimbabwean international scored some memorable goals for the Sky Blues, including a hat-trick at Anfield in 1995, becoming the first opposition player to net three goals at Anfield since 1961.

Ndlovu also enjoyed success at Sheffield United and was known to their fans as 'Nuddy'. He left the Blades in the summer of 2004 having scored 25 goals in 135 league games. In all, Ndlovu scored more than 90 goals during his 12 seasons and 338 appearances in the top two flights of the English football league.

SHAUN MILLER

Miller signed for Sheffield United at the end of July 2012, agreeing a two-year deal with the option of a further year. He made his debut in August 2012, in a 2–2 draw against Burton Albion in the Football League Cup.

Following his release by the Blades, Miller signed a one-year deal with Coventry City in July 2014. He scored two goals in the early stages of the season, both coming off the bench against Cardiff City in the Football League Cup and in the league against Bristol City.

DARIUS HENDERSON

In July 2008 Henderson signed a 4-year contract with Sheffield United after a fee of £2 million was agreed. Having spent three years at the Blades Henderson was hit with a multitude of injuries, but managed to amass 72 appearances, netting 20 times.

The ex-Watford man joined the Sky Blues in February 2016 after release from Scunthorpe United. He has made five appearances to date.
