WHY FLOYD MAYWEATHER?
For me he is the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world and to be given that title is a massive achievement. He’s made it to the top and he’s worked hard to stay there.
WHAT IS HIS BEST QUALITY?
His speed and his explosiveness without doubt. He catches opponents so quickly on the counter. You can’t make mistakes against him because he goes off of his opponents and their decisions and exploits them every time.
WHAT IS YOUR BEST MEMORY OF HIM?
I don’t really one best memory but I just love the way he boxes. I’ve watched a few training sessions of his on YouTube and the speed of the guy amazes me.
His one fight that sticks out to me though is probably the fight against Ricky Hatton. I was and am a fan of Hatton’s but Mayweather just completely dominated the guy. That fight convinced me that he’s far and away the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world and I think he can stay undefeated for the rest of his career. I think he will be absolutely determined to do that.

His confidence. I would like to take that kind of confidence into my play. His calmness under pressure and his ability to handle the big occasions and rise up to them.

How does it feel to be the champ? To be at the top of your game. How does it feel to win a title fight?
It’s a massive challenge to reach the top of your game but hitting a peak is one thing. Continuously staying there is another challenge all together so it would be good to know what he uses to motivate himself.

Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather is without doubt the biggest draw in boxing, both in terms of the attention his bouts generate and the money he demands for his fights.
Currently a fight with Mayweather will guarantee his opponent the biggest pay day of their own career but understandably so considering they will be taking on a fighter who has won all 47 of his bouts to date and knocked out more than half of his opponents.
A current five-weight world champion as a super featherweight, lightweight, light welterweight, welterweight and light middleweight, Mayweather has won ten world title fights and is largely considered as the best ound-for-pound fighter in the world.
He ended British boxer Ricky Hatton’s own undefeated professional record at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in December 2007 and recently defeated Argentine challenger Marcos Maidana for a second time to retain his welterweight and light middleweight world titles.
But for boxing fans around the world, there is currently only one opponent they want to see ‘Pretty Boy’ take on. Phillipino pugilist Manny Pacquiao.
Largely considered to be a potential fight of the century, many consider Pacquiao the only fighter truly capable of ended Mayweather’s undefeated streak. Rumours abound of a two-fight deal between the pair following much to’ing and fro’ing but to date nothing has been confirmed.
