Coventry City FC have joined the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce to tie down closer links with the business community.
The Sky Blues will now form part of over 2000 local and regional businesses in the CW Chamber as the club looks to build relationships with the business community.
The Chamber also has a strong lobbying voice for Coventry and Warwickshire with representation in Westminster and Brussels and nationally through the British Chamber of Commerce.
The club has made several advances with the local business community in recent years but want to increase the amount of businesses engaged with the club, and enjoying a match-day at the Ricoh Arena.
Coventry City Corporate Sales Manager Tynan Scope said: "We're very excited to be joining the Chamber of Commerce.
"The Chamber represents a fantastic opportunity for the football club to show it's presence in the Coventry and Warwickshire business community.
"Whilst we've made several huge steps forward with the local business community, we can do more to help the community engage with the football club and this will prove to be a vital step in achieving that aim.
"I look forward to meeting with new businesses and showing them the benefits of a working relationship with Coventry City FC."
Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Business Relationship Manager Hazel Pilling said: "We are delighted to welcome Coventry City Football Club into our Corporate Membership here at the Chamber.
"We are looking forward to working with Chris Anderson, Executive Vice Chairman and his team, developing strong relationships within the local business community whilst supporting and developing opportunities with the club across the region."
