Howard Wilkinson's Charter for Quality in 1997 implemented the Academy system for English football clubs.
Coventry City FC have since continued the Clubs proud history and tradition by developing Academy graduates to play in the first team, along with generating millions of pounds with the sale of players such as Chris Kirkland, Calum Davenport, Gary McSheffrey, Ben Turner & Gael Bigirimana
