The 25-year old will join the Championship side on January 1st, having made 25 appearances for City this season.Sordell was brought to the club on a free transfer from Colchester United by former manager Tony Mowbray and has netted seven times since his summer 2016 arrival.
The ex-Watford man will join up with his new club Burton Albion on day one of the winter transfer window.
