Join the Sky Blues in the Community on their upcoming holiday courses...
Your son or daughter could be playing on the pitch at the Ricoh Arena with Sky Blues in the Community – just by attending the upcoming holiday courses.
Boys and girls who won the Respect, Star Player or Coaches awards at the popular holiday courses over Christmas showed off their skills on the pitch at half time during the Sky Blues’ match with Fleetwood – and the same chance will be offered to winners at the February half-term courses.
At each course, Sky Blues coaches nominate young players from each age group for the ‘Respect award’, which recognises children who display an exemplary attitude during the camps – including good behaviour, helping the coaches and assisting other players. The Coaches award is a player chosen by staff for their positive attitude and effort, whilst the Star Player is awarded to the camp MVP for each age group.
The camps are open to boys and girls aged 5-12 years old, with the emphasis being for players to have fun and play plenty of matches regardless of age or ability. Each player who completes a full course will receive an adult & child ticket for a Sky Blues game.
The courses will take place at the following venues during the February half-term:
Alan Higgs Centre (Indoor Only), Allard Way, Coventry, CV3 1HW: Monday 20th February to Friday 24th February.
Bablake Astro (Outdoor, trainers only), Norman Place Road, Coventry, CV6 2BU: Monday 20th February to Thursday 23rd February.
Bedworth Oval (Outdoor), Coventry Road, Bedworth, CV12 8NN: Monday 20th February to Thursday 23rd February.
You can book for the full camp, or as many individual days as you like. All of the holiday courses run from 10am to 3pm, but there’s also have an ‘extra time’ option to extend the day from 9am to 4pm.
