The Sky Blues interim boss has confirmed that Lewis Page and Chris McCann are likely to be ruled fit ahead of the weekend’s tie with Southend.
Page came off inside an hour midweek after injuring his arm, while McCann also took a first-half knock.
Venus said: “Lewis fell on his arm and can’t feel his hand. He came off as a precaution, I'm hopeful Chris McCann and Lewis will both be available for selection.
“Jamie Sterry is still injured, but Dion might be available. We’ll see after training today.”
