The Sky Blues edge in front in the head-to-head record, as City prepare to lineup against some familiar faces...
Coventry City travel to Carrow Road this evening as Tony Mowbray's side go up against Championship outfit Norwich City in second round of the EFL cup.
The fixture has a 108-year history, with the first meeting between the sides being played back in October 1908, a game which ended in a 2-0 defeat for City.
Since then, the sides have met a further 119 times with City emerging victorious on 54 occasions to Norwich’s 32, with there being 34 draws between the sides. The Sky Blues’ last victory over the Canaries came in February 2009 in a 2-1 win at tonight's venue, Carrow Road.
The biggest victory the Sky Blues have recorded over Norwich was a 4-1 triumph in the old League Division One, in August 1978. John Beck, Barry Powell, Mick Ferguson and Ian Wallace were the scorers that day in a memorable win for the Sky Blues.
