Entries for the Mitre Goal of the Year category at the EFL Awards 2017 are now open.
Every club is asked to nominate one goal which can be from any match in an EFL Competition (Sky Bet EFL, EFL Cup or Checkatrade Trophy) and played in the 2016 calendar year, and we want YOU to decide the Coventry City entrant.
The 72 nominated goals will then be whittled down to ten. Through partnership with the Football on 5 show, from the ten goals nominated, fans will be able to vote for a final shortlist of five goals to go forward to the Awards evening on Sunday 9th April.
The overall winner for Goal of the Year will then be voted for on the night by attendees.
