Our annual Legends Day took place on Saturday, 8th April when the Sky Blues faced Peterborough United at the Ricoh Arena in SkyBet League One.
Last year, nearly 40 former players joined us for a 6-0 victory over Bury, and the Coventry City Former Players Association (CCFPA) was out in force again, with the stars of yesteryear enjoying the day alongside fans in hospitality before being presented on the pitch at half time.
Of course, this year marked 50 years since Hill’s side clinched the old Second Division title and 30 years since the Sky Blues’ FA Cup win at Wembley – with Legends Day less than a week after City’s next appearance at the national stadium.
