NEWS: One of our Family Zone volunteers will be raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support ahead of Saturday’s game

26 August 2016

Support our Family Zone this weekend as the Sky Blues lineup against neighbours Northampton Town...

One of our inspiring Family Zone volunteers is raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support during the weekends fixture against the Cobblers.

As part of the ‘Brave the Shave’ campaign, Sky Blues fan Amy-Louise Swatman will be getting her hair shaved at 1:40pm in the Family Zone on Saturday, with a current and a former Sky Blues player set to make the first two cuts!

Macmillan provide help and support for those people battling cancer, right from the moment they are diagnosed, through to treatment and beyond. As well as helping with the medical needs of people affected by cancer, Macmillan also looks at the social, emotional and practical impact cancer can have, and campaigns for better cancer care. Macmillan Cancer Support's goal is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer in the UK.

Amy’s hair will be donated to The Little Princess Trust, who make wigs for children who are battling cancer.

To support Amy in her fundraising, donate via her fundraising page here, or donate in the Family Zone this Saturday from 1:30pm to 2:30pm.
